This impressive vineyard is located in Bennett Valley, a maritime-influenced region of Sonoma County that experiences wide swings between daytime and nighttime temperatures. The
northwest-facing foothill block selected by Pierre has well-draining, sandy
loam soils ideal for Merlot. The average age of the Merlot vines is 15 years with
miserly crop levels of approximately two tons per acre. Elevation is between 550-620 feet above sea level. |
